It's got 22A continous and is adjustable. So it should more than handle the carputer needs. It's also got a built in AMP meter, so I'll know if I'm over powering.

I was ready to tell you that it was your ATX power supply as I read down the posts. I had the exact same problem and it drove me nuts. The voltage drop would put the Opus below the voltage it needed to see to stay running so it would shut down to "save your battery" or so it thinks. Glad you found the solution.

yeps, was gonna suggest same thing, i experience this issue in my own car when i forget to start the engine and had the thing running for over an hour playing music hehe. battery gets a lil low, opus sends the shutdown signal to save battery...just gotta drive around the block really quick and i'm good again hehe.

Okay, I got the power supply
and it's working great!
I'm really amazed, my set up is not pulling near 150w, it's more like 110-120w peak on startup then about 80w continous.
