CNX1900 .. 19 volt Xenarc screen

I set CNX1900 DC-DC psu primary output to 19 volt to computer and secondary to 5 volt to run usb device. Since I don't plan to buy another added on feature to this psu that can supplied both 12 volt and 5 volt at the same time. Can i just supplied 19 volt output to my Xenarc Touch screen since it take voltage from 11 to 24 volt?? Do you think a 19 volt to this screen in the long run will hurt the screen???

As long as you stay in specs, there should be no trouble since 18-19v is within its threshold.

Well it is within the specs so the xenarc should have a dc-dc built in or some sort of regualtor. Hook it up to the 19V and then to 12V and see if the 19V is a lot brighter. if it is then i would say don't do it as you will eventually burn out the CCFLS running them at more than they should be. on the other hand you could always upgrade to the new ones anyway
