    E46 would like confirmation on a wire

    I have been told that the switched power line on BMW head units is either white or purple/white. I would like confirmation that this purple/white wire on my '01 330 is the one I'm supposed to be splicing into before I start slicing. I'd appreciate your patience with this and hope you can understand the attached photo. It was taken with the HU pulled out and the coax looking cable on the left taken off.

    And was it the wire you needed?
    Iwill ZPCgx 2.4ghz cel, 256mb pc2700, external combo drive, 80gb 2.5 laptop drive, xp pro, usb gps, 7 in Lilliput TS , carnetix CNX1900. All mounted ghetto- still experimenting and tweaking.
