Question Will this DC/AC power supply work with this mb/cpu combo? Help.

Hi, I'm kind of retarded when it comes to computers.
My power supply is fried in my current BookPC setup, so I've decided to upgrade the carputer completely.

I just bought the following MB/CPU combo:
MICRO ATX SOCKET A MOTHERBOARD M825LU PC Chips M825LU Motherboard
Duron Processor, 1.6 GHz, 64K Cashe, 266 FSB

Would the following power supply work with it?
    MicroAtx Power Supply from Acortech

It's only $16 shipped with a coupon and it's small.

It says it is compatible with AMD XP, however this is an AMD Duron.
Any difference with connections and compatibility?
    Thanks all for your help.

I may eventually buy the new Dragon DC-DC power supply, but in the meantime, I need my carputer back up and running with my current inverter setup.

BTW, Here is the auction I one:

Ah, a red flag came on when seeing the $16 pricetag. That power supply turns out it runs only on AC, so you'll have to use an inverter.

Compatibility probably won't make any difference, as if it supports an AMD XP, then it probably has a decent 12v rail and should work with a Duron fine as the Duron has less demanding power requirements.

Looking at the price tag though I'm not sure this would be a good deal. It might work for a while but at 16 dollars...
If it is so inexpensive, it might not handle the faked AC sine wave that inverters put out.

I guess you can't go wrong for $16, but that might end up being $16 wasted when you could have saved yourself some trouble.

Thanks for your reply. I may pick it up as a temporary solution (I can't stand being without my carputer, especially during the summer). I realize that it's a AC supply, which doesn't matter at this point, cause I only drive a few times a month and don't really need a shutdown solution. However, I may but Dragon's new 96 buck inverter, moreso cause of the size. Opus is way to big. Thanks.
