hey, i'm really new here. where i live, ppl have a lot of money but no brains(trust me!) i didn't really know something like a 'carputer' ever existed. but because i am a computer network admin myself, and i love doing stuff to my car, i always thought of having a computer in the car.
Fortunately i came across mp3car.com and hey i love it here..
just a small question,
(btw--- i don't know crap 'bout volts watts, its all greek to me, so please.. help me with that)
here in the ME region, the PS on the desktop is usually set to "230" and if by mistake i set it to "115" it blows off.
ok, so , first, what is AC & DC ??? do i need a converter? DC-AC??
what kind of PS can i use? anyone has a write up for this?
i'd really like if some1 could help me with this,
Thanks a lot.
Ali
