    12V Battery to M/B via Morex 60W

    Hello
I have a Morex 60W ITX PSU, and would like to connect that to a low power ITX motherboard... DIRECTLY from a 12V battery (why use the cars own battery when can pop a spare one in the boot!)
Can I connect a 12V battery straight to the PSU board? I take that black (-) to the 12V supply.. and the + red end to the grd pin on the board
Does anyone have a project, such as an LED strip to test the power left within a battery?
What other information do you need? Do i need to regulate the power from the battery?
    Many Thanks
