Problem with M1 PSU and external Soundcard

    Hey guys, need some help.

I'm building my car pc and i've also bought the external USB Soundcard the Audigy 2 NX listed here

    http://www.mp3car.com/store/product_...roducts_id=105

Anyway i'm also planning on using the M1 ATX PSU listed here.

    http://www.mp3car.com/store/product_...products_id=67

The problem is that i thought the Audigy 2 NX was USB Powered. It says its 5V DC, it has some converter then a normal 240V Wall Plug on the end. I obviously cant connect it with the 240V because i'm not using an inverter, my question is can i connect the soundcard to my M1 Somehow ? And i hope it doesn't involve stripping too many wires with miniscule size

    Thanks
    Adwin

Yes you can do it that way. I've never seen an m1-atx so I can't help you on the specifics. Someone else will be along shortly to tell you, though. It won't be hard.

Simply use one of the drives molex power connector, either by cutting the wire or way better by using a female connector you can find in any good store.

The red wire is +5V, the Yellow is +12V, and the two black wires are ground.

And here I was thinking that the m1-atx didn't have any molex connectors. Sorry dude. I should have at least looked up the m1-atx before assuming I couldn't help you.
