Thread: Laptop powerup by wake on ring or wake on lan

I am wondering if anybody has successfully been able to power up their laptops via a wake on lan or wake on ring?


Unfortunately, I can't find a docking station for my laptop. I also do not have a serial port for UPS simulated startup. I understand that I can tap into the power button, but I'd like to avoid that if at all possible.
