DC charger for Laptop jacking up LCD

My laptops output to my lilli is perfectly fine when it runs off the battery. Once I start to charge it from the adapter the LCD resolution gets horrible, wavy, static, etc.. Can anyone tell me what the problem is? The charger is coming straght off a battery line. Ive tried two different laptops as well, same result each time.

I have the exact same problem. If I run the AC-DC adatper off an invertor the picture is perfect, but if I use the DC-DC adatper there is interferance (wavvy lines, flickering)
Havn't found a solution yet. I was going to try grounding the output of the DCDC to the chassis but I havn't had time.

you know how when you put the power line for an amp right next to speaker wires it gives you alternator whine in the speakers. Could this be the same exact thing? The power wire when it has current going through it distorts your lcd. I would say try re routing the power wire.

That actually was my first thought. I tried to move the VGA line away from the power line but they both originate from in my dash so I dont have alot of room to work with. The distance I did move it though didnt seem to make a difference though. As much as the idea displeases me, I think I am just going ot use an inverter.
