Most electronics with part names of Q are usually transistors/mosfets. Check out my link; one of the threads will tell you what you need to replace it.
I just burnt up my second power supply for different reasons, but burnt up the same part. It think it is a voltage regulator, but if you have the power supply, it is number Q2 on the board. it is right below where you plug in the four wires that go to your hard drive or other hardware, and above a large capacitor. If someone could read me the numbers off of the top of that, please let me know so I can replace that instead of having to buy a third one. I know I should have to out of stupidity, but this one was wired by a different person. I should have explained red meant yellow, and black meant black. It was from using the 12volts to power the tv amplifier, and different color wires were used to make the connection, so I connected it wrong and we saw pretty smoke.

Edit. I should have did a freakin search, I guess time away from the forum makes you dumb. Glad to find it, and the cool thing is I order from digikey all the time. I love that place.

Round VIII - [IIIIIIIIII] 30% Have some parts for 300zx Sema car I don't own yet. Will have 10.4" & 7" screen, and more then you can believe. Will add updates to cleancustoms.com, will be sweet. My car is still same, but might change.
