Was it related to Power OK or something else?

now why would you replace such a nice combo

anyways, i think one tester wont be enough... its not all opus that act up with the biostar... so i guess only time will tell..

search for "biostar mod" and you'll find the problem
the tradeoff of the solution was less overvoltage protection or something of that sort

all opi before the fix was implemented did not work, after they start shipping with the fix they all worked. I beleive the date this started happening (without re-reading threads i read a long time ago) was sometime in the fall of last year. I am going on when Mp3car.com started shipping the ones with the fix, i do not know when other vendors starting shipping the compatible ones.

as for why i am switching the ideq offers more features in a nice compact case. It is also a biostar nforce2 board so it will be interesting to see if either, neither or both work. I will test both with the PSU as it comes to me first.

Can't believe I missed the beta period! Doh! Oh well, so I see we can buy them for 200 now? I'm interested to know how many harddrive connectors the atx cable has on it, as well as if it has a 4 pin motherboard connector. Any chance the poeple who missed the beta can get an indepth pictorial on the unit? I've got my paypal ready and waiting I just need some convicing. lol. Thanks!
