Greenman, you did extensive testing and wrote an excellent review. Unfortunately, I'm not an engineer like yourself. I'm just an average guy who wants something that will power my computer and turn it on and off without any problems. I was willing to take a chance to pay $100 for an untested PS and SDC, and beta test it in a real world environment. All I can really say is that it works, and it works flawlessly so far. I've only had it hooked up for one day, so I can't comment on its long term reliability. In a few weeks, I'll let people know if any problems arise.

    Guys,

Don't worry about the extensive details. I think Parvos review is just fine. I'd like to see a few paragraphs and some pictures and if you have any detailed comments that is great, but otherwise the best you can do is just fine..

Once I get these 10 units out, we'll see a bunch more reviews..

    Thanks,

    Jeff

signing in, so I can remember to order one of these in the near future, when I have some time to install it!

...been wanting to replace that pesky inverter for some time...I'm getting tired of having to manually hibernate each time - I sure am getting lazy as I get older

If the early ones are still available etc, PM so I can sort out a payment etc, been busy last week-10 days but now back in this world and with some cash for once.

(bet it wont last a month...........)

Cant wait to give one of these a try and give a real testing and dump the inverter/psu setup. (not worried about its inefficency, but it takes up space)

    (warming the scope now.........)

Well I would have liked to have tried, but got paid too late.......

My hefty engine on its old weak battery is a good test for anything with its odd voltage drops.

My current setup only survives cranks if the engine is easy to start, IE its been running in the past 2-3 hours, otherwise it drops out and then I have to power cycle it, as like most inverters once its browned out it wont come back on by itself.

Tank battery (17aH dry from a 'jump start') cured it, but its running something else at the moment.

i belive it was a timing issue. ig you have the option to allow the users to lenghten the mobo turn on period (that probably means more to you than me) then people should be able to overcome the problem if it arises
