Tap the 5V from the HD harness that's been supplied with the power supply.
Hello,
This is my first post but I've been reading these forums for months now. I know I'm going to get bashed for asking this question and not searching enough, but I have searched and I haven't been able to find an answer. I have a M1-ATX and I'm trying to figure out a way to power a USB hub. I would like the hub to shut off at the same time as the carpc. What should I do? I don't want to over draw from the PSU.
I have a TS, GPS, Wifi, and USB DVD-ROM, what should I do?
Thanks
Montana
P.S. Don't bash me to much![]()

@thanatos106: Well, not necessarily providing he hasn't exhausted all the head room the power supply has. No where in his post the current configuration was included.
I understand where you're going though. Perhaps I should have included "One alternative is to...." before my 1st post.
@Montanaja: if you are to go with my suggestion, make sure you use your meter to measure the load.
