10 ga
What guage wire is sufficient to wire a 140W inverter to ignition harness. i am using a 25AMP fuse.
10 ga
yup, but use a 20A fuse max. (as close to the battery +ve as electically possibly)
yeah i got some 10 guage wire. also how do tag on connectors work. cause i need to tag onto my acc for headrest monitors. slide in the acc wire and splice 12V from headrest onto it.
Shame on you both.![]()
What gauge you use is highly dependant on how long the cable run will be. You can't get an acceptable answer unless you say about how long you plan to run the cable.
under seat to battery so around 5ft.Originally Posted by numbers

Good call numbers,
right size wire for the right job. I see it all the time... 12ga ran to trunk powering a 400 watt amp or inverter. and they wonder why it won't make it threw crank or there amp is getting hot and shutting off.
