    m1-atx keeps blowing fuse

    i just got m1-atx, everytime i connect it to battery the fuse blows, can any one please help offer suggestions greatly appreciated.

    Well, if there is something wrong with the device, you'll need to try and return it if that is a possibility. Make sure that you are connecting the 12V, IGN, and gound correctly.

    If the load is too high on it, I suppose the fuse might blow (i've never had/heard of this yet), so reduce the load.

    ok what fuse is it blowing the one on the power supply or the inline one
    if the inline one where is the fuse near the battery or pc side

    Thanks for your replies. Ive disconnected my amp and connected it as i knew these wires were working, the inline fuse is undamaged but the blade fuse on the psu keeps blowing, i have 12.49 volts on the unswitched battery wire.

    Sending unit back is not an option as postage from oz to us and back would be close to replacement cost, so any help in repairing would be greatly appreciated.

    Post a pic or diagram of how you are hooking it up. It shouldn't blow the fuse everytime you hook it up so obviously the problem is either with your connections or the M1-ATX is defective.
