Get a BIG magnifier out and see if there is any shorted to the board/PSU and the power cable between PC/PSU-batt and IGN-PSU/PC.
On the PSU side, check for continueity between the car chasic/ground and the + inputs (bat and IGN.).
Hi. I have a Mini-itx Epia M10000 mobo system in my boot, with a 12V DC-DC PSU connected to the battery. I have checked the voltage (with my limited knowledge of electronics) and it seems to be 12V when the engine is off. It has worked fine for weeks, but I took the mobo and HDD out yesterday to install something in the house, put it back in today, and whenever I connect the Positive and Switch terminals, the fuse blows. This happens immediately.
Is there something I am missing? I checked for loose screws, and it worked perfectly until I put my board back in this morning.
Thanks
