    Network Boot

I bought a port replicator to try and setup my laptop to power on ignition, but theres no power swtich on it. SO i looked through my bios for something so that I could try the wake on ring, all i could find was to enable "network boot" is this what is needed?

The only network boot I have used before is a remote os load off another machine, the NIC can be configured to RPL (?) froma server so the client needs no hard drive, just a network bootable ethernet card.

As such I'd say it probably isn't what you want, sorry.
