never heard of that.... can you confirm that the blink is fainter than it was before? check the manual for blink patterns and their meanings...
alternatively cxontact the place u bought from or opus directly... GOOD LUCK!
This morning I went out to my car, like I do many a morning, started it up and drove away. Normally my PC has booted up by the time I get to the bottom of the driveway. This time, it didn't. So I pulled over, checked all the wiring, everything was fine, shut down the car, waited 10 seconds, started it back up, nadda.
I checked all the voltages with a multimeter, it was getting 12V from the battery and 12V ACC, and the ground was solid.
Everything seems to be fine, except the LED isnt coming on. About once every 45 seconds it'll give a very very faint blink, but thats it.
Is it dead? I only got it like a week ago...

Any ideas for putting a PC in this? :)
Its much much fainter than it was before.
Before, when it was completely dark out (i.e. at night) the light could always be seen to be faintly glowing
Now, when it flashes, its about as bright as that faint glow. And apart from that faint flash once every ~45 seconds, its completely dark.
Battery voltage is fine, at 12.53V
check manual, although i dont remember reading about a faint light on it.... then call your supplier or opus//// good luck

Mp3Car is my supplier. I already owe them one Opus that I havent mailed back yet >.<
Sigh.
This is getting to be such a PITA.
Ok Ive got the Opus here on my work bench, power leads hooked up to a 12V DC power supply that puts out 4 amps. No load connected to the Opus.
One brief faint LED flash, then 40-50 seconds later another one. Nothing else.
Anyone know how I can test this before I submit for an RMA?
Alright I guess Im sending it to opus for repair.
Sigh.
Have you called them and asked for phone support? that would be the way before an RMA....
