    Angry PSU blew

Ok. So I'm totally ****ed because all of a sudden my carPC seems to be SHOT! I had this PSU that came with an old compaq 266pII. I think it blew. I haven't checked with a meter yet, but the fan doesn't spin and my carPC won't boot. So let's just say that's the problem. The mobo is AT and the PSU was like a AC-DC 150 or maybe even a 200 watt. I'm looking for a replacement now. I see many 250 watt AT AC-DC UL listed PSU's going for like $20 and under. Is this a risk? I figure even if it's over-rated it's better than the 150 I had that might be shot, right? Any way it's either this or a pre-fab DC-DC (I'm too delayed in this project as it is to build one) I don't want to spend more than $100 on a DC-DC PSU so it's a sub $100 DC-CD or a generic ac-dc 250watt. Any suggestions?

    Cool

If you are going to replace the AC supply, the 250W unit should be fine.

However, the best idea is (and I know you know I'm going to say this) is the DC-DC. Arise has them for around $79 US.
Player: Pentium 166MMX, Amptron 598LMR MB w/onboard Sound, Video, LAN, 10.2 Gig Fujitsu Laptop HD, Arise 865 DC-DC Converter, Lexan Case, Custom Software w/Voice Interface, MS Access Based Playlists
Car: 1986 Mazda RX-7 Turbo (highly modded), 1978 RX-7 Beater (Dead, parting out), 2001 Honda Insight
