I've been running the DSATX for several weeks now, and haven't had a single issue with it not working as it is supposed to. Here is my setup.
MSI P4 Micro ATX MB with a 2.4ghz P4 proc.
250gb 7200rpm hard drive
Nvidia 64mb MX440 video card
Hawking Wireless PCI card
Ambicom usb bluetooth adaptor
external slim dvd/cdrw usb drive
usb GPS mouse
7 inch super touch screen lcd.
I have 0 gauge wire running from the battery to the back of my car to a distribution block that powers my sub amp, and dsatx. I have 10 gauge wire running from the d-block to the power supply, and 10 gauge ground wire running to my grounding distribution block. I then have the acc turn on connected to my amp remote turn on lead which is hooked up to my stereo. That way I can manually control the acc line with my stereo. If my computer freezes, I can just turn off the stereo and wait a few minutes. Eventually I will run a seperate switch to manually shut down the computer if needed.
Having the 2 pots for adjustments makes it very easy for the average user. Jeff said there may be some instability with the SDC firmware, but I have yet to see any issues. The only thing I can think of that I would like added is the ability to shut down to S3 standby, which Jeff said can be done with the new software. It's hard to write a long review when everything works exactly as it is supposed to. Once again, great product Jeff!
