DSATX feature request

I'd like to be able to run in standby S3. I can do this manuall by selecting standby from the shutdown menu, and I only draw 150 milliams. I could leave it this way for a week and still not run down my car's battery.

Problem is, the DSATX cuts power to the MB 90 seconds after the pulse is sent to the MB's power pins, so I only gey 90 seconds of time in standby. 90 seconds isn't quite a week.

It is already implemented.

If you'll notice, one of the parameters is "Enable5VSBOFF" and "EnableSleep"

If you clear these, it leaves the +5VSB on when ACC goes low and all timers expire. Unit will draw 20mA in this mode, plus whatever your PC draws in this mode..

Since you got one of the very first units, yours doesn't have this feature, and it isn't feild upgradable. If I loaded the lastest code, your scrambling eeprom and all these other features would be yours.

I am not sure it is a problem/bug or feature, but it is not what I want.

Description: If everything work accordingly, this post won't be here, but sometime things doesn't work the way you want. When shutting down the PC (ACC OFF, Power pulse sent, blah.... blah .... ), and the PC hang instead of shutting down, DSATX doesn't cut power to PSU. Basically it will run down the battery to "low battery threshold".

Request/Question: Is there anyway to cut down the power to PSU (I am not using standby) as it should do with normal shutdown? I mean cut off power to the PSU x minutes/seconds after power pulse is sent.

So far, the PSU is rock solid.

Do I still have to do this in the latest firmware? I've just enabled 5v (Enable5voff=0), but I didn't disable sleep (Enablesleep=0, I kept 1).

Short answer: you don't have to disable sleep.
