    Post MPJA dc-dc converters

From what it looks like these would work great but I could be wrong. The one i'm looking at converts 7-40vdc to 5vdc @ 5A. http://www.mpja.com/product.asp?product=12875+PS My question is will this work? I have a pcm5860 and with a hardrive doens't use more than 3A. I will still need 12v but that's just a regulator and a cap. Any help is appreciated.
