M1-ATX goes into standby, but wont come out of it
Purchased in March, dont know if it has the updated firmware with it. Is there any markings on the board?
I set my power options in windows XP to :
Power Button: Standby
Sleep Button: Standby
My M1-ATX is connected at jumper B.
Now, when I take the key out of the car, the m1-atx shutsdown fine into standby mode.
I wait until the whole process is over (about 10 secs) then I put the key in and turn to ON/ACC again, and here I hear the amplifier "thump" sound meaning the computer just did a hardoff and booted on again. (Yeah I did not connect the amplifier-on jumper yet, thank goodness, or I probably wont understand whats going on)
Then I notice that the computer is rebooting, windows XP logo and all.
Everytime I turn the key off then on it will have this thump sound and the computer even if its running will boot from scratch.
Consequently, whenever I have my Power Button set to Shutdown or Ask Me What To Do, nothing happens. I think that's a windows problem but anyone can give a hint here?
The only setting that works is if I enable Hibernation and set power button to hibernate, but hibernate causes problems with my system since I did the eWF install.
My system is M10000 EPIA and M1-ATX supply.
