    Post Delivery expenses from Arise

I finally decided to buy a DC-DC power supply, and the Arise ACE-865V ($79) suited just fine to me. So i made a order to them to Portugal. They said delivery to Portugal was gonna cost me $70! Has anyone from Europe ordered the same power supply and paid this amount?

    really???
is that like ontop of the $79 to buy the thing, so thats $US149 which makes it about $AU300
um..i'll give that a miss too.
How did u end up powering your system then pcman?

my other option is to get some one in the states to buy me one and ship it, with me covering all costs, got to be cheaper than that!

    hmmm...

    Well..
Not like I want to steal his money or something, but,

I'm like living on the other side off the globe,

Do you think, when he has designed, build and tested the psu he would be so kind to share that information with us ?

with something like a schematic ??? (hehehe)

I would be very interested, but I live on Europe, the other(dark) side of the Earth, and that would take also a lot of money just to send it to Portugal making the PSU even more expensive. Well, maybe iŽll just have to hear the "buzz" of the inverter all day and all night.
