    Question Turning off the computer

I have a 600watt inverter powering my setup, what I basically did was hack apart the front, and used some extra wire to extend the wires that went from the switch in the front panel (the switch goes to a relay inside the unit, it does not carry 12v).
I put them on a toggle switch on my dash.
But, I am really afraid of forgetting about it, and leaving the inverter on one day.
How can I set it up so that it will automatically turn my inverter on and off, when I turn my car on and off?
I have no clue how car fuse boxes work, and am possibly selling my current car, and getting a 1987 Isuzu Trooper.
Can I used a small relay? I doubt that to line from the switch carries more than 3v
How would I set this up?

    Thanks alot.

Just use a 12vdc HIGH amp (for 600 watts)relay and to switch the relay on use your acc line that gets 12 v's when your key is in the ignition.

Or you can have a look at this circuit in a recent post.

I can't, if I leave the inverter on, cut the juice to it, then re-attach the electric, it stays off. its a "'Safety Feature"

Hey I noticed that too on mine. We have the same one right, Portawatz 600 from the shack? When I crank the starter it goes beeeeeeeep then stops. The light comes back on but there is no AC output. I thought there was something wrong with mine. Oh well. I have an extra 300 watt inverter I may test out.
