I'm guessing you need to search...

I'm running a MicroATX board without any extra PCI cards on an Opus 150W and have not had any problems. I only have 256MB ram and am using a laptop drive. But it does survive cranking even after watching thrity minutes of Teen Titans...

Head over to the FAQ Emporium by clicking on the link in my signature. There's a link in there to a thread on power supplies.

Short answer: Search on terms "power calculators"

Shorter answer: What wattage is the desktop PSU? If 150 or less, you're good. Otherwise, you need to calculate it out.

Or buy a 300/400 watt inverter and use a standard psu.
