Question Help with Sproggy! Wierd voltages!

    Okay, here's my current....

Got it all assembled, (Mk2.6) and I get the following voltages:

    +12v for the +12v (yay!)
~+7.2v on both sets of +5 (hrm...)
    ~-1v on the -12v(Ugh...)
    ~-50mv on the -5v(Not connecting???)
    ~+7 on the power good.(augh!)
Also of note is that the LM2587T-12 is getting HOT quickly (30ish seconds and I can't touch it.)

I've checked the soldering, it looks okay. Anyone have any ideas? This is on a home brew PCB, so it's possible that the copper is off (although I double-checked prior to soldering...)

Hey buddy for the 5v rail check if the mbr745 is isolated on the heat sink.

Better than that remove the heatsink and then check the volts

and for the lm2587 check the pcb again

    An update:

It seems that I must have smoked the LM2587T chip. Now on the +12 rail, not enough juice is getting through to even spin the fan.

Boy, this is going to take a bit of debugging... I may try setting it up on a breadboard next, in the event that it's my PCB.

(but damnit, the LED still works!! )

[Edit: In response to the above post, I was actually doing this without any heat sinks on any of it, so it couldn't have been needing the isolation..]
