    Keeping it simple...

So from my searching ive come up with a few things i feel pretty good about.

    1) This wiring diagram (key words for n00b searches ) i took and modified will work (in theory)
    2) I can cut the wires to a USB hub (cause they run 5v) and wire it into the M1-ATX (if its the mobo [thats the motherboard hey i didnt know it at first either] please correct me)

NOW..i love this website there are many great topics and a wealth of information. however even thugh people harrass n00bs about searchiung and stuff ive found, that when you do search you find a lot of threads with the same question, 2 or 3 good answers that answer part of the question and 5 pages of flaming telling him to search. so after many nights of wading through questions, faqs, and flamming ive come up with a few uber complex diagrams involing regulators, inverters, flux capatitors, m1's, processors, usbs to no end and various other strange insights into the world of carputing. ive even seen old *** threads where someone starts famming someone for being a n00b then he retorts with some crazy reply that pretty much declares his knowledge of the computer world.

    so my basic question is.
what do you think of this diagram? will it work successfully? and do you have any input. hopefully this thread will be searched uppon and studied by n00bs for years to come.

forgive the diagram. im not a qualified electrician. i also just wanted to say that i got the complex diagrams. i was just wondering if something this simple would maintain itself well. and the reason the DVD is on a USB is becasue it will be mounted in the dash away from the puter

Ok, all I see is a red X where your image should be. I also tried the link to the photobucket image and that doesn't work either.

Ok, why are you running the hdd power off the M1 when you can do it off the mb? Do you really need the usb hub to be powered by the M1? I run a 4 port hub without the need for it to be powered. Why are you going with a V10000, do you already have one? It only has USB 1.1 and no mpeg2 acceleraton
