    Post auto shutdown and startup

    is there a way to have my puter shutdown properly when i shut the car off and startup when it turns on? Some sort of UPS software I assume, but what do you do for the power when it is shutting down? A 1 0r 2 farad cap maybe?

    You can use relay. There are some info on power supply forum. There are a lot, so you won't be having any hardtime finding it.
