    Post help please how much mm is 22 awg & 18 AWG

    I'm trying to make Presslab's forward converter, he describes his transformer being wound with 18 AWG and 22 AWG. I'm dutch I don't have a clue what kind of wire too buy...
    If at first you don't succeed.........
    destroy all evidence you tried

    Don't have an aswer ready to your question, but do you already have the double E core ? (E3)
    If yes, where did you get it ?

    I got the E3-core from the psu I'm gonna "redesign"

    BTW I found the answer to my question, for some reason my keyboard didn't accept AWG and transformed it into AGW, so I couldn't find any info on the net. Now that I hooked up a new keyboard everything works fine.
    If anyone else wants to know what it stands for:

    18AWG = diameter 1.024mm and 0.823mm2
    22AWG = diameter 0.644mm and 0.325mm2
