    Also, do you need a certain OS to use that RC circuit ...

    oops, went back to reading that on going post from july, and realized that those links aren't dead anymore for the documentation

    First in WinMe or W2k go to control panel -> power options and set the computer to shutdown or hibernate when power button is pressed.
    So I guess this answers everything I wanted to know

    Ok. thanks everyone, for your help. What I did was just goto Yard Birds and buy 60ft of 14guage wire (15ft for each of the 4 wires to power button). I cut and spliced the 4 wires, and just attached one of the 15 cables between them. I haven't set it up in my car yet but its workin good in my room. I am going to try to mount it where my old clock in my car used to be...
