Thread: Wiring an Opus and DSSC together

Hey all, been a while.


Anyway, after 3 jump starts it has come to my attention that I need to do something about components sucking power while the car is off. I think it is the power supply to the monitors but I'm not sure. I would like to wire in the DSSC (since I already have it and I think it will do what I need) but I'm not sure how it should connect.
It sends power on and shutdown signals to the power switch pins, but the opus already connects to these pins.

• If I connect the DSSC instead of the Opus, will the Opus still power on with the system?
• Will I need to bypass the Opus start/stop controls somehow so it comes on without delay?
• How should I run wires to the monitors power supply?
