Post Inverters: I think this'll work, but checking nehow!

Hi, Im new to this idea, got a brainwave one day, thought "Yay, computer in car, WOW" Looked online to see if anyone had done it, turns out its been done before by hundreds of people!

Neway, Im planning to put my old P166 48mb RAM, ISA soundcard and network card, with an old 4mb graphics card, Im not exactly loaded, so I want to use this inverter:
maplin page, use codesearch to find product QM80B
It says its 150W, but will this really be enough to run my system? My PC runs on a 200w AT PSU. I have heard that Inverters can make the stereo have a lot of noise, How can I counteract this? I read somewhere that I should take out the AC filter componenents, what will this due, and how do I do it?

Thanx for the help, Sorry to be such a useless newbie, Hopefully by the time I finish As-Level electronics and this project I may be able to help some of you!

150W will be fine for your application. I am running a 150W inverter with a Duron 800. (i have said this before no? )

if u want to take out the AC filter components, great. It made a huge difference in my system. I now have PERFECT sound (well the best my sound card can offer anyway, which I think is pretty damm good!)

    check here.... (shameless plug!)
