    Will M1-ATX power this?

    1ghz Celeron
    1 20 gb HDD
    1 LAN Card
    512mb RAM
    1 Geforce 440 64mb VRAM

Can I power this with M1-ATX and also can computer nerd/circuitry noob do this on his own?

    Cheers
    Simon

Really? Bugger now I am conflicted. a couple of people/sites have said it will and some have said it won't. Anyway of working this out for myself?

What could I take out of the comp so it could be powered?

    Cheers

Search for a power calculator here. There are several. None are accurate, but they will give you a balpark figure.
If your proposed setup is still over the 90w max of the MQ-ATX, then look into an Opus 120w, an Opus 150w or a DSATX 220w.

    Good luck.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

Yeah see thats the issue. The power supply says it can handle celeron I,II,III but only in certain platforms.

Two of the calculators are saying 170 and 165w so I have to get under 150 and go with Opus.

And, theres no way those components are hitting 165w... check out the thread I posted recently about the actual power consumption of my devices:

    Are you serious fusion-one?

So my 1ghz Celeron with no USB devices, no wifi will work a treat with this power supply? I really really want to get one but I thought I was stuffed. I am an aussie you see. The Opus 150w costs $279 aussie dollars. The M1-atx is only $135.

Just to check again I can do this?

I run an Epia 1.3Ghz, Xenarc touchscreen, 80GB 2.5" HDD, 512ddr, and five USB devices all powered from M1-ATX and have never had any problems.

Oh this is great. Ok so I am going to defiently get an M1-atx power supply then. So ITL you even run your LCD screen off the computer (like a normal computer screen I suppose)
