dc - ac power inverter

Hey all,
what's the best DC - AC power inverter and where can I buy it?
I've heard that some DC -AC inverters will cause noise and flicker. My other question would be if I get an inverter with noise would I be able to connect an ITPS regulator to regulate the voltage? I'm understanding that the reving or the change in voltage cause noise... Not sure if I'm correct.

ok that answers the inverter part....but puting an ITPS regulator before the battery do anything?

Battery + ITPS regulator + DC-AC power inverter

cranking brings the car down to 7-10 volts, normally, so if you want to be able to survive crank, and your ITPS can handle it, sure.

or you can search for tank circuits here to keep the voltage up during crank
