i ended up talking with opus and sent my power supply in for reprogramming. they said they need to change the firmware to work with my motherboard.
i have an i-Base MB720F wtih VIA chipset
for extra jumpers check the basement and rip them off of old useless cd roms or motherboards. always works![]()
its been a few months and i had opus reprogram the psu to work with the mb720f but no luck, never wanted to go into standby. anyone know of a psu that will work?
I'd consider getting a motherboard that will, cause my opus works fine in standby. I use an MB896 and had the same issue, but after they reprogrammed it it works fine. Supposedly the IBase boards need more than 5sec from when standby voltage goes up to initiate. Their old firmware was too fast so it was pulsing before the motherboard was ready and therefore it would always start with a 2 blink error. Works fine now so I would monitor your standby voltage and the LED for 2 blink errors.Originally Posted by pasic
