    Power supply for my laptop

I have an inspiron 5100 and want to use it in my car for music, movies, and gps. I have a sony cdx-ca700x with the xa-300 so I can plug my laptop into my head unit through usb (although I haven't actually tried it yet cause the xa-300 isn't installed yet) I have an ac inverter but heard that I will get a buzz through my speakers and I don't want that. Since I have a laptop would I still have the buzzing in the speakers if I got something like this?

Never had any issues with my Codi adaptor, and this one looks very similar. Since your not going dc to ac and back to dc, your chances if noise are far less.
