    150 v 300W PSU

    Hello.

Would I be right in saying that using the same components inside a PC that a 150W PSU and a 300W PSU would both draw the same power - the 300W just means it can run higher?

    Cheers.
    Chris

pretty much yes... although depending on the efficiency of each power supply ... it might not be the case

Yeah, thought it would be. Didn't think about the efficiency of the PSU but I'm happy enough with that.

Gave away an old PC I had in my car last year because I didn't htink I was going to do this car PC thing properly. Had no display or anything but I'm having another go - trying to get some bits and pieces together from stuff lying around my room.
