    Power Calculator

I was searching around for a power calculator and didn't come across what I was looking for. After searching on google for a bit I found this:

    http://www.epiacenter.com/powersim/p...mulator_v2.htm

This one happens to have the motherboard that I am considering.

The ones that I found while searching seemed alittle bit outdated..

    Hope this helps.

According to this my system will draw 112 watts. How accurate are these things anyway? The M2-ATX should power it correct?

    Thanks guys.

That's pretty good, but it's mostly for EPIA motherboards. It works great for those setups, but anyone wanting to go outside the mainstream will find it of little use. Awesome find, however, especially since the EPIA boards are the most commonly used.

I can't tell you if your system can be powered by the M2ATX for certain. You haven't told us what system specs you're considering. There's more to it than the total wattage the system will consume. You need to make sure you're not going to draw too much from any of the three rails (12v, 5v and 3.3v) that the PSU supplies.

One thing to look at is the maximum power your system will draw. Selecting the DVD Playback and Office applications options on that calculator will give you a better idea of how much the system will draw under heavy load. You want to make certain the PSU you choose will be able to handle that max load to insure a stable system.

Here's a writeup that may help you: FAQ: Will <insert PSU model> Power Supply work with my system?

It's pretty likely that the M2ATX will work for you. But without knowing your planned system, I can't say definitely if it will or will not. That FAQ will be able to help you figure it out, one way or the other.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?
