So offdelay #6 doesn't work for what you want?
30 min/never (taxi mode)
Thanatos.
Has anyone found a reliable, easy way to get around the stock timings on the M2-ATX? I looked around here and didn't see any but I wanted to ask before I go off to reinvent the wheel. All I want is a long enough initial delay to not be rebooting my system everytime I go into a gas station or post office. I'm leaning towards creating a circuit that supplys power to the signal wire for ~30 min after the car is switched off.

From what I understand that leaves the 5v rail on all the time unless the battery drops below 11 volts. I was looking for a setting with hardoff that used the 30min initial off. So a setting that was 30min/2hours, or something similiar.
Yes. Buy a DS-ATX.Originally Posted by Simon123

[Hey, the right tool for the right job!]
But on a serious note, I am also trying to figure out a way to change the timings "on-the-fly" when using the M2-ATX. So I am interested to hear any ideas you may have.
i am very interested in this answer as well, as I'd love a 30min/2hour setting also....
Normally i'd agree with this, but it's more than twice the price, AND doesn't fit into my Morex CaseOriginally Posted by piabu

I saw another post that said all these options are available, but some are not listed in the manual (haven't tested them though). There's a 10min/1hr and a 15min/2hr - not quite the 30min you're looking for but enough to get you through a quick stop.

hell, i'll take the 1 hour /1hr 15min one even....better than the other options, imo. I also emailed Mini-box to see if i can get an answer from them.
Andrei from Mini-Box confirmed the existance of the
0001 10 minutes / 1 hour
1001 15 minutes / 2 hours
0101 1 hour / 1 hour 15 minutes
settings via e-mail. He also said that the source code for the unit is available for modification. I wonder what sort of work it would be to modify the code...
Source code in zip file is available here:

They reference using the "PicStart Plus" to program the PIC - a bargain at $199.Uh, no thanks, I think I'll just stick with what's pre-programmed! I know less than nothing about PICs though, maybe there's a better way (ie cheaper).

Thanks Darthtater, that is exactly what I was looking for. And you're right about the DSATX as well, great powersupply but overflows its place in the budget somewhat. I think either of these should be in the documentation,
1001 15 minutes / 2 hours
0101 1 hour / 1 hour 15 minutes
They seem more useful than the ones already there.
