try swaping the + and the ign wires round and see what happens.
I just installed the M2-ATX to my EPIA board. I connected the battery to the +. I grounded the - pin and I connected a dashboard switch to the Ignition pin. When I turn the switch on, the computer powers up fine but when I turn the switch off, the computer shuts down hard. It seems as if the power supply completely shuts off when the switch is off even if there is 12V from the battery still on the +. I thought these modes would allow the computer to remain on for 5 seconds then perform the action associated with pushing the case ON/OFF button? Any thoughts?

Yeah, I thought about doing that.. brb!
No change. Switching the Ignition (Switch) and + Battery leads resulted in the same response.
Do you have any of the jumpers set? If you are in dumb-PSU mode, I'm pretty sure you need to use the MB on/off switch. Otherwise it's like pulling the plug out of the wall to shut off your desktop PC.

I've tried setting both A and B with different jumpers and neither work right. It acts like its in Dumb PSU mode.
I changed out the actual switch and it turns out it works now. For some reason, I had a bad bounce on the signal when I toggled the switch and it would always turn off the PSU. Now with a new switch, it is working right. One of those strange things I still really cant explain why, but it works!
lol same issue with mine it seems but mine won't shut down![]()

Does your case button work when it is plugged in? If not, are you using minlogon? If yes, try going back to winlogon and see if it works. Fixed the shutdown problem for me.Originally Posted by kraft
