Dang photobucket - resized the drawing because the friggin thing was 513k. Sorry about the small pic there xs10x!
Anyway, I see an error in the drawing, but I don't quite know how to fix it. My valet switch isn't going to do anything without some sort of relay. I'm not exactly sure how to insert the relay in there, so any comments are more than welcome!
Fuses. But I'm guessing you left them off the diagram intentionally?
Why do you need a relay? The valet switch is switching the turn-on signal to the components and not the main power, right? Unless you use a tiny switch, the switch itself should be able to handle the required current fine.
Yeah, left off fuses. I'll be putting them in without a doubt. Plus, the distribution blocks have them too.Originally Posted by mushin
Just got back from the RV shop. They suggested a battery charger and a switch. I guess I'm going with the KISS method. As for a relay, I'm just used to using them. I need to modify my wiring diagram to take this into account. Thanks!
I was wondering what you're going to use the power inverter for?

Don't know. I always seem to need power where ever I go. Since I'm building a shelf for my pc, I figured I'd put in some nice extras. Figure if I ever add a ps2 or gamecube or something else (refrigerator for cool ones!), I'll be ready to deal with it. Plus, I can always use it to power a small battery recharger (for portable devices like a cassette player for my daughter).Originally Posted by dfk70
