    Relay / Circuit Breaker Questions

Hi, I'm looking to have some form of remote turnon for a power inverter in my trunk. I've been to numerous websites where I've found 12V SPST relays rated at 40amps (what I need!), but I'm not sure if I can purchase them by individual units. Also, do they make circuit breakers with an ACC line?

You can certainly purchase them individually. Rat Shack (radio shack) carries automotive relays (or at least they did before they became as useless), you can probably stop by a local car alarm/stereao installation place, an see if they will sell you a couple, though they will probably be more expensive, or you can and or froogle for automotice relays.

    Also, check out http://www.allelectronics.com/cgi-bi...VE_RELAY_.html

Huh? Circuit breaker WITH an acc line. What is an ACC line? What do you mean by "with"?

If you're asking for help, check your attitude. Sheesh.

You can find 40A automotive relays in single quantity at Digikey, Mouser, etc.
