ive never run a dc>dc psu with a duron, but i run a number of low power ac>dc duron setups, all duron 750's in matx setups, all using less than 200W psus without incident (145/150W's mostly).
Has anyone tried using a Duron/Athlon CPU with a Sproggy power supply? I was just wondering if it was enough power for it. I know my T-bird 1 ghz needed a 300W supply before it was stable, but I am uncertain about the power requirements of a Duron. Or perhaps the better question is, for those of you who have Sproggy power supplies, what is the fastest machine you've used it with?
