Use the Carnetix p1900 it also has a built in shutdown controller, it worked perfect for me but you have to mod the on/off button to have the carnetix shutdown and startup the Minipc. Check this thread for more info
Okay, I swear, I'm NOT asking to be spoon fed. I've looked around this site for a few hours, and can't find the best answer, so I'm gonna ask.
I have an aOpen Mini PC that draws only 65 Watts, and a USB hub that draws like 9 watts, and a Lilliput 7" monitor that also draws about 9 watts.
What is the best power option? I have a 200 watt inverter from Target and my initial thought is "why not plug everything into that"
Is there a better option?
Thanks for any help you can provide.
Todd

Before I hardwired my PSU, I did a quick and dirty install with an inverter. When the computer powered, I could hear a whine through the speakers. After I wired my PSU, the whine went away.
Hey Kalt it's me again.. lol. Did you ever get those instructions written up on how to connect the Aopen MiniPC to the Carnetix P1900? I bought the one you had where you had already modded the power button, but how do I connect the powerbutton wires (coming out the back of the PC) to the carnetix? And how do I power the PC through the carnetix?Originally Posted by Kalt
