How to Test M2-ATX by using regular power supply? please help..

Hi guys, I just ordered a M2-ATX and I want to make sure it works before I install it in my car. So I have a regular power supply 350W. And can you guys please show me how to test the M2-ATX by using power supply (350W). thank you very much.

You can steal 12V from a regular PSU (Yellow wire).
To turn on a PSU (without a PC), just ground the PS_ON wire.

The PS_ON wire is USUALLY the light green one. Just connect it to a black wire and that usually does it. You'll want to make sure your power supply works like that before you try it, though.

And leave an old CDROM or HDD connected to one of the molex. Some PSUs require a resistive load in order to output to the ATX specifications.

    A little follow-up question...

    Connection:
-Yellow wire from one of the molex to the +12 on the m2-atx
-Black wire from a molex to the -12/ground of the m2-atx
-Yellow wire from the PSU to the IGN of the m2-atx (I can remove this to test the startup/shutdown)
-Black wire connected to PSU_ON (usually light green) to make sure the regular PSU is on.

    Correct?
