How much can a 150Watt Opus handle

I want to put in an ATX motherboard, either Celeron D or AMD XP 2800+ processor, 512Mb Ram, 40Gb 3.5" Internal Hard Drive, DVD Rom Drive, SB X-Fi Soundcard, 80Gb External Hard Drive via USB, Wireless Card, GPS Antenna via USB and Wireless Keyboard mouse. Can the 150 Watt Power Supply handle it?

Yeah, you need a DSATX. Even then, you'll need to be a little conservative. The Celeraon D, if I am not mistaken, uses the Prescott core, which is known for its high power use and heat--it's probably not the best choice for car use. You also haven't factored in a video card, which you'll need if you're using an ATX mobo.

Use a power calculator available online and select what you think you will be using. Give you a good idea of what to expect.

I have to agree with Legarcondemerde, a prescott core will blow your car up. I never thought I would say this, but I think a Celeron is way to powerful for this application. That just felt dirty... AMD's are better with heat and power usage. A P3 system is all you really need. If you end up going the Celeron D or P4 route, you need a DSATX. Greater than that and you have an inverter.
