    Separate Suspend Battery

Just a thought. Does anyone know if there is a battery I could use (not to big) As a standby battery for my carputer. I am thinking if I wire it the computer side of my carnitax psu then when the computer is in standby it will use the suspend battery only and not the car battery.

    Any ideas comments?

Try a motorcycle ot tractor battery. Use a diode so it doesn't back feed into the car's system, bt can be charged from the car's altenator. Or just use bibernate. my little underpowered EPIA only takes about 20 seconds to reusme.
