    Opus modifications?

    Hi guys,

I would like to power my pda, an hard disk drive, 2 speakers, a gps and my cell phone. I need about 6 amps. As I still got an 150w Opus power supply I think to use it better than a regulator.
On standards ATX power supplys in order to use it without a mainboard you need to make the first modification (see photo).
Then when you check the Opus's manual the green and white wires must be plugged to the mainboard (second modification). So now what can I do to make it run ? Wire the green and the white wire together with a resistor between? Manual say that these wires are polarised so is there any danger to do it?

1K resistor will do. Maybe you'll need a dummy load for 3,3V and 5V (big wattage resistor, small ohm) so 12V rail have enough amp (depend on psu design )

    Thank you for this answer.
I'll try the second mod tomorrow.
Concerning power I need 5v-6Amps. The Opus specifications is 5v-10Amps so no pb. But there are 7 wires where I can take this voltage. So is it better to pick it several times or can I simply use only one 5v output?
