Why do you need a tank circuit if you have a DC-DC power supply?
Or do you just want to make more money off of my designs? :-)

wouldnt the tank circuit prevent the computer from restarting if it is being run in accessory position, and then the car is started. with the high strain on the battery, the tank circuit should maintain the power to the dc-dc supply. at least thats what i think mastero is trying to get at here. maybe im way wrong.

I have a power supply like sproggys and my computer doesn't need a tank circuit and I have a crappy battery that drops to 8 volts when I restart.Originally posted by mp3z24
